Terms and Conditions
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) apply to all contracts concluded between DoorGuard Shop (hereinafter referred to as "Provider") and customers (hereinafter referred to as "Customer") through the Provider's website. The T&Cs apply exclusively to orders directed to delivery addresses in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Sales to other countries are excluded.
2. Information on This Website
The information and product descriptions on the Provider's website are intended solely for general information. They do not constitute a legally binding offer but should be understood as an invitation for the Customer to submit an offer. Despite careful maintenance and updating of the content, the Provider assumes no liability for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided.
3. Prices
The prices listed on the website are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and do not include VAT, as the Provider is not VAT-registered. The Provider reserves the right to change prices at any time. For orders, the prices listed on the Test&Buy page at the time of contract conclusion apply.
4. Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products on the website does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation for the Customer to submit an order. By submitting an order, the Customer makes a binding offer to purchase the products in the shopping cart.
Order cancellations may be requested by the Customer via email from the time of contract conclusion until the order is dispatched for delivery. The Provider reserves the right to accept or reject such requests without providing reasons.
If delivery does not occur within 12 months of the contract conclusion, the entire amount will be refunded to the Customer, and the order will be canceled.
5. Payment Methods and Retention of Title
The Provider offers various payment methods, such as credit card or bank transfer. The Provider retains ownership of the delivered products until full payment of the purchase price is received.
6. Delivery, Duty of Inspection, Notification of Defects, and Returns
Delivery is made exclusively to addresses in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The Customer is required to inspect the received goods immediately upon receipt and report any obvious defects without delay. Hidden defects must be reported immediately upon discovery. For a justified notification of defects, the Customer has the choice between a replacement delivery or a refund of the purchase price. Returns must be carried out according to the Provider's instructions. All associated costs, including shipping, are borne by the Provider.
7. Right of Withdrawal
The Customer has no right of withdrawal once the 14-day trial period has expired. A return, replacement, or refund after the trial period is only possible in the case of a justified notification of defects.
8. Test&Buy Principle
The rules listed on the Test&Buy page apply to the Test&Buy principle. These are part of our Terms and Conditions.
9. Warranty
The Provider warrants that the delivered products are free from material and workmanship defects, except for a normal and expected degree arising from the FDM 3D printing process. The warranty period is two years from the date of delivery. In the case of a warranty claim, the Customer is entitled to repair, replacement, or refund of the purchase price. The Provider is not liable for normal wear and tear or improper handling of the products.
10. Liability
The Provider is not liable for any damages caused by the product, especially not for indirect damages, consequential damages, or lost profits. The Provider assumes no liability for the content of linked external websites. Customers using DoorGuard outside of Switzerland or Liechtenstein do so at their own risk, particularly as the product has no CE certification.
11. Data Protection
The Provider processes the Customer's personal data solely for the fulfillment of the contractual relationship and for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with service providers necessary for the delivery and processing of the order.
12. Partial Invalidity
Should any provision of these T&Cs be invalid or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision that corresponds to the purpose of the invalid provision.
13. Further Provisions
The Provider reserves the right to change the T&Cs at any time. Only Swiss law applies to contracts between the Provider and the Customer. The place of jurisdiction is the Provider’s headquarters or the Customer’s residence, unless otherwise required by law.
14. Contact
For questions regarding these T&Cs or other inquiries, Customers can contact the Provider via the contact form or directly by email.
